Moku-Hanga Japanese water-based technique woodblock print.
Block: All Shina Plywood (specifically made for printmakers).
Paper: Japanese Shin-Torinoko White
Size: 4" wide x 6" high.
Hand Printed with Murasaki soft baren.
Year produced: 2007.
Ink gradation technique (bokashi): a beginner's poor attempt at trying to blend two colors together simultaneously on the block, printing with one or two passes.
I enjoyed this piece even though its a simple design.
